We kicked off the new year with a bang as we welcomed the Lion Dance to our showroom on the first day back from the Spring Festival holiday. The traditional Chinese performance, which is believed to bring good luck and fortune, was a joyous way to start the year on a positive note and share that good fortune with our customers.

The lively drumming and clanging of cymbals filled the air as the performers expertly twirled and danced through our Dirani Design Furniture showroom. The intricate costumes and fluid movements of the lions were a sight to behold, and we were thoroughly entertained by the energetic display.

Have you noticed the vegetable in the video? Yes, it's Lettuce! Lettuce in Chinese, we call it "生菜Shēngcài", it sounds very very close to another phraze in Chinese, "生财 Shēngcái"， which means "make a fortune" .As a traditional Chinese custom, lettuce is used as a symbol of good fortune and is often given to the lions during the performance. We would like to share with our customers in the good fortune by handing the lions lettuce as they danced.

Not only was it a fun way to start the year, but the Lion Dance is also believed to bring prosperity and success in business. By inviting the performance to our showroom, we were sending a message of good will and hoping for a prosperous year ahead.
